What We Do
Break the Chain Campaign collaborates with survivors of migrant worker exploitation, along with community and government partners, to prevent and address the effects of the exploitation and abuse of migrant working women by:
- Providing direct service to victims of human trafficking and worker exploitation
- Nurturing the assests of migrant women to foster leadership among them
- Developing the awareness that human trafficking is only the end point on a continuum of migrant exploitation.
To help exploited migrant workers as they move toward self-sufficiency and community engagement, BTCC provides three essential forms of support:
- Basic tools for personal and community development
- Practical knowledge of resources for migrants in the United States and in their local community.
- Guidance on how to use their experiences to shape and improve their native and adoptive communities culturally, politically and financially.
